The breakfast, served just a short stroll away at the Augustinian Monastery, was delightful-offering a generous selection of fresh, delicious options that set the tone for a cozy holiday morning. My stay was made even more enjoyable by the warmth of the staff, who went above and beyond to accommodate my needs, ensuring a lovely and relaxed experience. Nestled conveniently near the heart of Erfurt, this family-run hotel not only provided a scenic view overlooking a serene natural stream but also easy access to cultural gems, like the Merchants Bridge and the Bauhaus Museum in nearby Weimar. For any traveler yearning for a blend of comfort, culture, and scenic beauty, Gästehaus Nikolai is a hidden gem worth discovering.
